About us

Hi there! My name is Rachael and I have always been passionate about animals. Having worked with animals, both domestic and exotic for nearly 20 years, I have invaluable experience with them. Having spent a few years working as a Zookeeper, I felt it was time for me to move back to more domestic creatures, as I have always loved cats and dogs.

I studied a degree in Animal Behaviour, which covered a vast and varied amount of information. I have completed a Diploma in Pet Sitting & Dog Walking. I have always wanted to work with animals, and have been very lucky to do so. My history includes working in veterinary surgeries, as well as kennels and catteries. I am DBS checked and fully insured. In my spare time, I look after my own cat, Kimba.

I started Strolling Paws Pet Care with a vision to provide a high standard of pet care, allowing you, the owners, to feel happy and comfortable knowing your pets are well looked after. I aim to provide a good quality of welfare and treat your animals as I would my own. All animals are different and I love finding out their individual personalities! Since 2018, this has become a reality and I have met some wonderful people and pets!
